April 2005 - Fencing Master Nick Evangelista was kind enough to review my fencing sculpture. Please see the quote on my fencing sculpture page.

April 2005 I was juried into the membership of the Society of Animal Artists. It is an honor to be a part of this society that I have long admired.

April 2005 - Two sculptures were accepted into the 59th Annual Sculpture Exhibition by Pen and Brush society of New York. Those works will be on display through the month of April. They are Res Judicata and A Scratch Player.

In January 2005 I was honored to receive an invitation to exhibit my sculptures in Milan, Italy. This wonderful exhibition is called The International Wildlife Art Exhibition - to be held at Touring Club Italiano, Milan from 9th November to 17 December, 2005. It is to be opened by Mrs. Virginia McKenna of Born Free Foundation.


In Late July I received a nomination of approval by the International committee to be part of the 2005 Biennale Internazionale Dell'Arte Contemporanea in the City of Florence Italy. The Exhibit will be at the Fortezza De Basso, a castle built and used by early members of De Medici. www.FlorenceBiennale.org

Dear Artist : We are glad to inform you that we are selecting the artists for the next Florence Biennale. In our website www.florencebiennale.org you can find all the information regarding the exhibition. The internal committee saw your work in your website and approves your participation in this Biennale 2005 that will be held in the Fortezza da Basso from 3 to 11 december. In collaboration with the United Nations, the Biennale is also an official participant in the "Dialogue among Civilizations" program. In the words of Kofi Annan, "I believe that the dialogue is an opportunity for people of different cultures and traditions to know each other better, whether they live on opposite sides of the world or in the same street."

"A Scratch Player" in 2004 was on exhibit at the Smithsonian. He was part of the 3rd Worldwide Exhibition of Miniature art (hosted for the first time in the USA by the Miniature Painters, Sculptors, & Gravers Society in Washington, D.C.) it was held at The International Gallery, S. Dillon Ripley Center, Smithsonian Institution.
