Bonny and Rackham - Pirates of the Caribbean - Southern sting rays |

A familiar sight to divers and snorkelers alike, the southern stingray is sure sign of warm waters and good times to be had in the Caribbean. As I sit here in the the cold north woods, I remember the first time I saw them on dive trip.
As many know from experience, they greet you as ambassadors of Grand Cayman, in a lovely little cove known as stingray city. These two southern stingrays are named after two infamous pirates that resided in the Caribbean waters, Calico Jack Rackham and Anne Bonny.
